Ashton D25 beginner acoustic guitar
The Ashton D25 acoustic guitar is a good quality instrument, and our most popular acoustic guitar for beginners.
The D25 is a full sized 'dreadnought' acoustic guitar, physically quite a large body, giving a big sound and lots of volume - a guitar of this size is normally suitable for children over about 12 years, and adults of all ages.
The Ashton D25 features an 'A' grade Spruce top, Sapele body, Rosewood fingerboard and die cast Chrome tuners, all combing to give a lively, bright sound.
The neck is Mahogany, and relatively slim, ensuring it is quicker and easier to play on. while the rosewood fingerboard is bound in cream coloured plastic along both sides, making a comfortable, smooth edge.
The top edge of the D25 has a built in tuner with an LCD display showing the current note, 2 red LED's that light up to show if you're flat or sharp and a blue LED when you're in tune. For more advanced players, the tuner is chromatic, meaning you can tune any string to any pitch.
A great introduction to playing guitar, the Ashton D25 offers the quality we seek in a beginner instrument.

WHY ARE THERE TWO PRICES?
The prices reflect the level of service we can offer depending on how you buy from us:
When you buy online
If you click-and-buy a guitar from our website, we will offer what every other mail-order company does – boxed warehouse stock sent by courier which has passed the manufacturer’s quality control and is covered under their warranty. You can find out more about warranties and returns on the Delivery page.
When you buy in-store
Being made from natural materials, every guitar is different. Nothing beats trying a range of models, including the exact guitar you intend to purchase so you know its right for you.
Before we sell a guitar, we carry out a 16 point inspection, making skilled observations and adjustments to ensure it sounds its best, plays easily and is finished to a high standard. This often picks up on things that the factory’s quality control missed and we return up to 20% of our shop stock because it fails to meet our standards.
To ensure you get the most out of your new guitar and to keep it in top condition, we also include our FREE accessories and service package worth over £185. This includes important extras such as a carry case, digital tuner, spare strings, strap and plectrums so you’re ‘ready to play’, as well as a FREE quarterly service, where we inspect and adjust your guitar and offer free labour if you want a restring. After 12 months we offer a full service with free strings, and the opportunity to extend your service plan at a reduced rate.
Add to this the other facilities we offer, including finance options, part exchanges and a loan instrument if yours is in for repair, buying in-store definitely gives the best value for money.
