The Yamaha CPX1000 is a brand new model with hand-selected tonewood construction, real wood inlays and the incredible SRT pickup system that redefines performance acoustic guitars.
With an exclusive Medium-jumbo body, the Yamaha CPX-1000 boasts powerful, rich bass combined with smooth, delicate highs and sweet mid-range for an open, modern voice that is versatile for both acoustic and electro-acoustic work.
When professional guitarists want to record real acoustic guitar tone, they'll record the guitar with a microphone.
That holds true for guitarists who prefer using electric-acoustics on stage as well. Electric-acoustics are very effective in live situations due to their ability to adjust sound and balance volume with the other instruments in the band.
But the sound that electric-acoustics deliver is merely the amplified sound from a pickup attached to the bridge or the top, and lacks true acoustic resonance and ambiance.
True acoustic guitar tone that you hear on recordings only exists in the recording studio where experienced sound engineers have the means to capture that sound. Yamaha's new SRT system lets you create that same studio recorded sound. The system lets you choose from three different high-end mic types as well as mic positioning. It also lets you obtain more detailed sound by blending the sound with that from the piezo pickup and adjusting resonance. The SRT series brings studio quality acoustic guitar sound to the stage that will amaze your audiences.

Before we sell a guitar, we carry out a 16 point inspection, making skilled observations and adjustments to ensure it sounds its best, plays easily and is finished to a high standard. This often picks up on things that the factory’s quality control missed and we return up to 20% of our shop stock because it fails to meet our standards.
To ensure you get the most out of your new guitar and to keep it in top condition, we also include our FREE accessories and service package worth over £185. This includes important extras such as a carry case, digital tuner, spare strings, strap and plectrums so you’re ‘ready to play’, as well as a FREE quarterly service, where we inspect and adjust your guitar and offer free labour if you want a restring. After 12 months we offer a full service with free strings, and the opportunity to extend your service plan at a reduced rate.
Add to this the other facilities we offer, including finance options, part exchanges and a loan instrument if yours is in for repair, buying in-store definitely gives the best value for money.
